A 6-floor practice built around three things: deep plane facelift by a 32-year surgeon, autologous SVF cell work processed in its own laboratory, and body contouring. Held JCI accreditation 2015 to 2018.
SVF stem cell procedures in Korea cost roughly 3 to 15 million KRW (about 2,200 to 11,200 USD) depending on whether the cells are used to improve fat graft survival, injected for skin quality, or delivered as a full anti-aging protocol. The cells are separated from the patient's own fat during the same operation, which is why the procedure is always paired with liposuction.

Stromal vascular fraction is the cell-rich residue separated from harvested fat after the mature fat cells are removed. It contains adipose-derived stem cells along with other regenerative cell types. In aesthetic practice the most established use is cell-assisted lipotransfer: adding SVF to a fat graft to improve how much of it survives, since plain fat grafts lose a substantial share of their volume over the first months. Secondary uses cover skin quality injection and anti-aging protocols. Korean clinics working in this area typically process the cells in an on-site lab during the same operation rather than sending them out.
Korea permits autologous cell procedures performed within a single operative session, which is what makes same-day SVF work possible here. Several Seoul practices operate their own cell processing labs on the premises, and the clinics doing this seriously publish the equipment and protocol rather than describing it in general terms. The regulatory point is worth understanding before you compare offers: cell expansion and culturing over multiple days sits under a different framework than same-session autologous use, and clinics operating legally in the aesthetic space are doing the latter.
Price depends on the volume of fat harvested, the processing method, and what the cells are used for. Combining SVF with a facelift or body contouring procedure costs less as an add-on than as a standalone treatment because the harvest and anesthesia are shared.

The number of clinics with genuine on-site cell processing capability is far smaller than the number advertising stem cell treatment. Sinsa, Cheongdam and Apgujeong hold most of them. Ask to see the lab, ask which separation system is used, and ask what cell count you are receiving. A clinic that cannot answer the third question is selling fat grafting with a different label on it.
The recovery you feel is mostly from the fat harvest, not from the cell injection.
Allow 7 to 10 days, driven by the liposuction donor site rather than the cell work. Compression on the harvest area continues after you fly home. Because the benefit builds over two to three months, you will not see the outcome while still in Korea. Ask before booking whether the clinic will assess results remotely, and get the processing protocol in writing so a doctor at home knows what was done.
Not necessarily. Same-session autologous SVF, separated from your own fat and returned during one operation, is what Korean aesthetic clinics perform. Cultured or expanded cell products fall under a different regulatory framework. Confirm which you are being offered.
Cell-assisted lipotransfer has clinical support for improved graft retention compared with plain fat grafting, though reported figures vary widely between studies and between clinics. Treat any specific survival percentage quoted to you as a claim rather than a guarantee.
Enough to harvest 100 to 300cc, which most patients have at the abdomen or inner thigh even at a low body weight. Very lean patients may need the harvest spread across two sites.
Grafted volume that survives the first three months is generally durable. Skin quality effects are reported over roughly twelve months and are maintained with repeat sessions. Aging continues regardless.
No. Autologous cell procedures performed for aesthetic purposes are not covered by Korean national health insurance, and travel insurance will not cover them either.
