Clinic districts

The Gangnam corridor holds the majority of surgical practices in the country, and within it the character changes street by street. Garosu-gil and Sinsa hold an unusual number of single-focus clinics: practices that do liposuction and nothing else, or eyelid surgery and nothing else. Gangnam Station through Sinnonhyeon is the volume market, where competition on the same block keeps pricing visible and appointments available within the week. Apgujeong and Cheongdam sit at the premium end, with smaller daily caseloads, named surgeons and fees running 20 to 40 percent above the Gangnam Station average for equivalent work.

Outside that corridor the picture thins quickly. Southeast Seoul has a handful of small single-surgeon practices. Busan's Seomyeon district is the second cluster in the country and runs 15 to 25 percent below Seoul, though language support is scheduled rather than continuous at most clinics there. Myeongdong and Hongdae carry very few surgical practices at all, whatever their reputation for aesthetic treatment generally.
